Bristol Channel Species

Landed on the "Nik-I-Lou" and "Lady Helen"

(Lady Helen was originally owned and skippered by Steve)
A collection of photographs showing the varied species of fish caught whilst fishing the Bristol channel on the Nik-I-Lou charter boat.   The list includes the  unusual and common from the Cod to Monkfish

The most productive baits are:
1.   Lug/Rag worm and squid for the Cod.
2.   Mackerel strip for the Conger, Spurdog/Smoothound and Tope.
3.   Sand Eel for Bass.
4.   Feathers will take Pollock, Mackerel and many other species when fishing in clear water.
